Greetings eaters and readers, with an emphasis on the READERS today! As you likely know, here on Dinner: A Love Story, we’ve had a long tradition of discussing and reviewing books of all kinds, and that goes into overdrive in the summer, when my only wish for you is to find yourself in a hammock — or on a park bench or at the beach or just outdoors — completely immersed in a book that unlocks a faraway world. I figured this was as good an excuse as any to put together a somewhat exhaustive list of (almost) every novel and short story collection I’ve written about in the past few years.
