A hearty, summery dinner, a magical salad dressing and...join me in Italy!
Greetings eaters and readers. Warning: Content here might get a little tedious for the next few weeks considering this tomato sandwich will be my lunch and maybe even my dinner until the last worthy heirloom has been plucked from the vine in the Northeast. In book news, for those of you who missed it, last week I compiled 100-Plus Ideas for Your Next Summer Read, a little guide to almost every novel I’ve written about in this newsletter. (I have a little ways to go before I catch up with this guy, though.) Lastly, what’s on the dinner line-up this week? I’m thinking it might be time for my Corn-and-Tomato Tagliatelle’s summer debut; and maybe fish sandwiches with slaw, or the Thai Green Curry from The Weekday Vegetarians: Get Simple. When I have access to a grill later in the week, I’m going to try tossing this spicy-peanutty grilled cabbage with some of my revolutionary baked tofu. How good does that sound?
