Recipe Contest!
Your recipe published in this newsletter (!) plus a chance to win a signed copy of "The Weekday Vegetarians"
Greetings readers and eaters! Today I’d like to open up the floor to YOU, specifically the dinners you cook and you love and that you’d like this beautiful food-loving community of Dinner: A Love Story readers to know about. Which of your go-to dinners is the special one? The one that everyone eats without a fight? That everyone, in fact, looks forward to? That you look forward to? I want to know about it. (We all do!) The winning recipe will be published on my newsletter along with a little introduction about the genius person behind it. That genius person will also win a signed copy of The Weekday Vegetarians: Get Simple or their choice of any of my books.
Rules? Eligibility? I’m glad you asked…
Eligibility
Cooks of every level are eligible to submit — from recreational cooks to Substack food writers to cookbook authors to Eric Ripert. (A girl can dream!) As Ratatouille’s Anton Ego famously said “Not everyone can become a great artist but a great artist can come from anywhere.”
You must be a paying subscriber to enter the contest.
Rules
The recipe must be vegetarian or “flexitarian,” meaning if it’s a dinner you usually prepare with chicken, please include instructions for how to make it vegetarian.
There are official rules for writing recipes (ingredients listed in the order they appear, etc), but please don’t worry too much about this part. The important thing
