Greetings, eaters and readers! It’s hard to believe I’m writing this, but a few days ago marked the two-year anniversary of our move to New York after 20 years in the suburbs. The city seems to be commemorating the occasion appropriately, with a stretch of the most gloriously sunny 70-degree days that make late-afternoon walks in Riverside Park feel non-negotiable. Maybe this weekend, I’ll commemorate the anniversary myself by replicating the Perfect Upper West Side Day, as designed by two Condé Nast Traveler writers — there are a lot of things on that list I’ve never heard of and plus, I am a sucker for anything romanticizing my neighborhood on that level.
