A few things making me happy lately: Gin and tonics on the roof; the brisket and fattoush we feasted on at my sister’s house last night; Central Park, in all its joyful, autumnal glory; Long Story Short from the creators of BoJack Horseman; Lily King’s new novel; Chocolate Chipotle Cookies and the tin they’re packaged in; the tote bag my friend and fellow Connections addict, Rory gave me; Holy Hummus; my new shoes that feel very back-to-school; late-afternoon-audiobook walks; spontaneous walks with my brother and Bean; and finally, Aran Goyoaga’s The Art of Gluten-Free Bread, from the wizard behind Cannelle et Vanille which comes out TODAY!
