Thanks to those of you who tuned in to my live chat yesterday with Gentle Food’s

. We talked about the way we use food to take care of ourselves and others, what we’re excited about for spring, and strategies and recipes we lean on when we’re cooking for our friends in a way that feels comforting rather than stressful. The talk was part of Grubstack, a live food festival which is going on all weekend. Honestly, the whole thing sounded complicated to this analog girl when I first signed up, but I have to admit, it’s been fun to get a notification from my Substack App that says, hey, Dorie Greenspan is live with Clare de Boer right now if you want to tune in. And then there they were, chatting from their kitchens, Dorie’s cheerful yellow pots hanging on a rack behind her.
