This has nothing to do with anything you said but we are have resurrected your chopped chicken salad with vegetables which has a soy dressing. Absolutely the best lunch these days. Thanks for all the great recipes and ideas!
Abby’s interview with Ali was wonderful!!! I was so glad to hear that someone love and appreciate Ali (a national treasure, for sure.) The ideal day of meals question is brilliant.
As an Australian, I love that you've pointed out pavlova is a great celebratory dessert for many. Perhaps why pavolva isn't all over the feed at the moment is because this is our classic Christmas dessert! It is a sign of celebration but Easter is way more low key than Christmas here and also, as it is usually served with summer fruit and thought of a summer treat (and Christmas time is our summer time) by Easter (autumn) Australians start thinking of more warming, comforting desserts.
First I have to say a very big thank you for all you do! We love your recipes in my house and you're always a go to for inspiration. I have one question and one recommendation:
1. We tried making the chilled asparagus soup the other day but it came out tasting only of mustard. "Why'd you make mustard soup?" - real quote from my little. My husband scooped large mouthfuls and swallowed quickly so as not to offend or waste food. Ha. Any ideas what I did wrong?

2. A kid's book recommendation for your niece (because everyone loves a character with their name): Vivi Loves Science (https://www.harpercollins.com/products/vivi-loves-science-kimberly-dertingshelli-r-johannes?variant=33007295397922)
Thanks again!
