Ha, I am indeed a DALS lifer! As is my 14 year old son who loves to cook, who often refers to what "Jenny" [no last name needed] does, as if you are a family friend!
When I downsized homes recently I passed all of the “everyday” china and cutlery on to my kids and now in my new home use all of my beautiful special stuff for everyday! If you love it, use it!
We need to talk about the after-dropping-kids-off-to-college dinner. Because for me it was definitely a tomato sandwich from the garden. Because I couldn't imagine cooking after the physical and mental exhaustion that is dropping a kid off. Yes to using your wedding china!
Good luck with your move! I’m so glad you’re taking that cabinet door with you! :)

We started using my mom's silver flatware and dishes when she died. I like it; it's like she's at the table with us. So use those wedding dishes!
yes, jenny, use those beautiful dishes all the time! best of luck with your move.
I can whole-heartedly recommend others of Bee Wilson's books as well. Her book The Way We Eat Now is a genuinely life-changing book in my opinion.

I love Bee Wilson's food-writing, so I'll look out for this
Salmon salad sounds like the right choice for the last supper! 😁 It is one of my family’s favorites!
In your Salmon Salad dressing - is it yellow mustard or dijon? Thanks!
So funny! My non gluten free family also loves Bob’s gf pancake mix.
