3/29 9:00am ET: Apologies but it looks like Dinner: A Love Story is down for some reason. I will report back as soon as I figure out why. Forgive the inconvenience!
"Each one was a strand that tethered me to the land of the living and together they eventually pulled me to my feet again, altered, but upright.” My god, how beautiful! And how true for when one suffers the death of a loved one. I told someone today, who had lost his father, "The loss never leaves, but it gets easier to carry."
Beata Heuman is a GODDESS of interiors — kitchens, in particular, including that gorgeous one above. Highly recommend checking out her other kitchen designs: https://beataheuman.com/blogs/interiors
Wonderful, thoughtful sharing of loving thoughts for a beloved departed, and an excellent reminder that it’s not how much or how many - the gesture of caring is enough.
Hello. My first ever failed Jenny dinner happened last night. I tried to make the chicken thighs with vinegar sauce. Maybe my thighs were too large but they were not cooked through and I had to put them back in the pan after people cut into them . Maybe because the lid was not closed they didn’t cook enough? I dislike crunchy skin that turns soft when it steams and I closed the lid so that is what I had! I think next time boneless skinless might be the way to enjoy that delicious sauce! I am still a devoted fan❤️
Served your One-Pot Chicken with Orzo, Spinach and Artichokes this weekend for guests, and it was a huge hit. I was looking for a recipe that accommodated several food allergies and yours was perfect. Now that I know how wonderful it is, I will do it again.
The link for the cake didn't work for me, so I found it another way. But would love the recipe for the marshmallow frosting too. Any suggestions? Thanks!
I’m planning on making ice cream cake for my sons birthday. I was going to use the one from How to Celebrate and use this chocolate cake instead (as a cup of coffee in a 2 year olds cake doesn’t seam ideal 😆). But I realized there’s no picture of the final cake in the book and I hate making recipes when I can’t see the final product! Any chance you have a pic? If not I’ll live, but thought I’d ask!

I do not know when you first published hot chicken sandwiches, but they will be forever known in my house as “beach sandwiches.”
Mom caramelizing onions is a harbinger of salty air and sand between our toes!
I think about five years ago! Love that you are still making them!!!
The shoe box of frozen soup is a brilliant idea!

working on this, apologies!
I have Odette Williams’ book but how many of us have 10 x 3 inch cake pans? The cake looks so good, too.

Do you regularly make the Thai coconut soup?
My husband enjoys heat, but this was barely edible. Also, where is the coriander in this recipe? First recipe from you that was a total fail!
