I love the busy green. There's something lush about it. Second choice would be the grass paper. Those warmer colors feel like they'd shed a lot of love on the walnut table top.

The yellow wallpaper. The orange will eventually cause headaches, the flowers may induce hallucinations and the clouds are too wispy, making people daydream instead of eat. The yellow is uplifting, steadying and just bright enough for a dark winter day. Wow! I didn't know I had so many opinions about wallpaper!

Yellow! Take advantage of all of that beautiful natural light in that corner. I think the Cascade pattern would make the apartment too dark, especially in winter. I think the yellow one breathes best.

I think an accent wall should be that an accent, I am partial to birch tree wallpaper, the kind that looks like you are in a forest.

Oh, and re: wallpapers - I too love Cascade. The beauty of that particular spot for wallpaper is that it isn’t an entire wall, so I’d bet you could be pretty bold there if you wanted, and it would be amazing. (And worst case, nothing is forever :) Anyhow, we recently pulled the wallpaper trigger in a few spots in our house, and our favorite might be Hornbeam (Farrow & Ball). The color options are amazing, but I think the main thing that I love about it is that it's hand-painted, which gives the wall just a bit of texture (less 2D). Lots of other beautiful patterns, too! https://www.farrow-ball.com/en-us/wallpaper/hornbeam?sku=5051836600716

The Graham and Brown Cascade will be the most transformative IMHO. What a great contrast to your cleaner, mostly mcm vibe. An unexpected choice that I think will make you feel luxurious AND cozy.

Check out Sanderson Woodland Toile wallpaper. I could look at it all day and never get tired of it! It brings the outdoors in.

Cascade all the way for me. It will invite you to that table regardless of what’s happening there, food or homework!

Graham & Brown’s Cascade is my vote. Where did you get the round table? I am on the hunt for one..

Definitely the “arrows” - cool geometric slightly mid-century vibe. Will look great with the tulip table. Also went down the wallpaper rabbit hole and loved the tangier medallion Kraft by wallshoppe - in yellow. Can’t wait to see the pick!

I am not a wallpaper expert, but I think with such a small space you probably want something that will really *pop*, right? I love the Graham and Brown for this. I also saw this website after falling down a CoJ rabbit hole yesterday which may totally color my "bolder is better" mindset: http://www.workandsea.com/wallpaper-collection

Good luck!

Tough choice! I love “Forsythia Sunshine” but “Cascade” could make the nook feel more defined/separate within the open space. Either way they’re both beautiful😊

The busy green floral jumped out at me too! I think your indecision means that none of them are it, which means keep looking. What fun!!

Cascade! Trust your instinct, which is probably why you keep coming back to it. It would be brilliant in that nook.

First of all, SO good to see you!!!! You are slaying NYC - uptown, downtown, in all ways. Every time I go to the city I wish I could live there. And secondly, love the whole "dinner for two" paradigm shift! As Paul and I said once we launched the youngest one and realized happy hour can be a legit dinner, "The world is our $1 oyster!!" XOXO
