Congratulations, Jenny! For San Francisco, a breakfast stop for pastries at Arsicault is a must. For lunch, I think you'd love Pizzetta 211. And for dinner, go to Kabuto for the best low key neighborhood sushi!
I recommended the Outer Richmond location!! Usually less busy (though it may not matter as much on a weekday). The special breakfast sandwich is where it’s at!
Congrats, JR! I look forward to seeing you in SF at Omnivore!
There's a new breakfast sandwich place called Bandit on the corner of Dolores and 18th St, which is such a great foodie spot - BiRite and BiRite Creamery right there for snacks or just perusing, Tartine Bakery is always a winner, despite having expanded exponentially, and then you're right at Dolores Park to enjoy some great SF views.
Fairly close to Omnivore, in the Mission, there is a great Arab street food joint called Reems. This is a woman-owned business that grew out of La Cocina, a food business incubator in SF, and I think you would LOVE the food, the vibe, and the background story. Great for lunch, dinner, or takeout.
Two more Mission dinner spots I love are Lolo on Valencia Street (very creative Mexican + amazing interior design) and Good Good Culture Club, a newer venture from the team behind LihoLiho Yacht Club= Hawaiian inspired Californian food in a lovely atmosphere.
In Seattle, just find a Renee Erickson restaurant (eatseacreatures.com) and you're set. Walrus and the Carpenter or Whale Wins are my favs, but Westward has scenery, Bateau has steak...
Congratulations! I’m excited to dig into this one!! San Francisco favorites … for breakfast, coffee and toast at The Mill … lunch at Hook Fish Co, the fish tacos are amazing … and dinner at Pasta Supply Co! See you on the 9th!
You MUST eat at Penny Roma - the "younger sister" to Flour + Water. On 20th Street. Have a drink first at Trick Dog next door. We eat at Penny once a month and have been doing it for over 2 years. Really VERY good.
In SF, breakfast at Sweet Maple or pastries from Arsicault. Grab a “el dorado” style burrito from La Taqueria in the mission and another treat from Tartine Bakery to eat at Mission Dolores Park for lunch!
my favorite fish and chips is down the hill from Book Larder, Pacific Inn. A divey pub but delicious. Plus Sea Wolf Bread, Livbud Cafe and The Whale Wins ( classic Renee Erickson) are all right there. Enjoy your tour!!
For SF - either The Front Porch or Emmy’s Spaghetti Shack. They’re both only a few blocks walking from Omnivore and delicious without requiring refreshing Resy. Enjoy!

Yayyyy congrats! SF rec’s here:
Breakfast: the special breakfast sandwich from Devil’s Teeth on Balboa in the Richmond.
Lunch: Dim Sum! Maybe at Dragon Beaux (Yank Sing is overrated).
Dinner: anything that strikes you at Frances or Pearl 6101!
Devil's Teeth Bakery in SF's Outer Sunset neighborhood is fantastic!

Yes, I still think about the breakfast sandwich (and the foggy view that accompanied it)!

In Seattle, you must eat dinner at Lioness! It’s just up the hill from Fremont in vibrant Phinney Ridge! It won’t disappoint!
It is excellent! No reservations needed but the wait can be long depending on when you arrive.
I'm RSVPing for the HudCo event, how amazing to do it with Jodi! I'm excited for the book. CONGRATULATIONS!

Bar jambroni in SF is fun and no need for a res.
