I hope everyone had a beautifully chaotic holiday — here are my three favorites ways to optimize those leftovers! 1. Leftover Sandwiches No real recipe for this (shown above), the more artless the better, and your goal should be to stuff as much of the Thanksgiving plate in between two pieces of bread as possible. About that bread: After much thought, I’ve decided the best option is a thinly sliced peasant loaf (toasted). This way you get a little of the crunch from the crust while also minimizing the starch, since you get plenty of that in the filling. Don't forget the gravy, which, as usual pulls it all together.
