A grill basket, yes!! Why have I never taken the plunge? Also--this books list. We just finished Tale of Desperaux (reading together) by Kate DiCamillo, with my seven-year-old, and it sealed on summer on reading. Thrilled!
YES to no-cook summer sauces! It's HOT as Hades here in Mississippi, and those sauces will liven up some old faithful dishes.
Also, I'm the steward of a Little Free Library in a small rural town where most of the kids are all shades of brown. A couple of years ago I found a list of books with characters of color and ordered lots for the LFL and for storytime events I hosted at our local event venue. I loved reading through the stories and gaining new perspectives.
Absolutely love Carmen Maria Machado’s work— you (and Phoebe, if she hasn’t already) should check out her memoir In the Dream House. It’s one of the most memorable, unique, and original books I’ve ever read.
any variation of cheese, carb and tomato...amazing
