Crisping up the tofu works even better if the tofu was previously frozen! Just a tip :)

Adding "paint my most treasured recipes to the kitchen cabinet" to my Future Life bucket list ASAP. So, so lovely!

I actually do something similar with my printed recipes while cooking - I put them into slip covers and use magnetic clips or regular magnets to stick them to the fridge - out of danger of being spilled on or covered with flour. After cooking, they get filed back into my recipe binder (slipcover makes this easy) unscathed. If the recipe is not good, slip cover goes back in binder to wait for another print out. Works for me :)

I love the crispy tofu! I was also a 20 year ASICS person but the toes became too narrow and I switched to HOKAs a year and a half ago--started with the Bondi but it was a little too heavy and now I wear the Rincon 3's, they have gotten me through many pandemic miles with no foot or other issues.

Jenny, I'm trying to order your first book, Dinner: A Love Story, to a friend and it seems to be sold out...everywhere?! Bookshop.org, B&N, only used copies on Amazon...do you know what's happening?! Thanks!

I bought the Bondi 7s. They are definitely different (way more cushion) than my Asics, and take some getting used to, but so far I really like them. Feels like I'm kind of floating! https://www.hoka.com/en/us/womens-road/bondi-7/1110519.html
