Just wanted to let you know that I gave North Woods a second chance as you suggested ( after reading too few pages the first time) and am now in 75 pages and hooked!

Janet / Jenny -- I’d love to know what your advice was about North Woods! Did Jenny say that you have to read more in one sitting? I’m trying to read a few pages at a time and I’m having trouble getting into it.

We make salad pizza with marinated tomatoes and arugula. The pizza goes into the oven well oiled with garlic and mozzarella, then comes out after which prosciutto and the tomato-arugula mixture is applied.

American Symphony is a jewel.

I too have watched about the first half of American Symphony, the documentary about Jon Batiste and his wife. As a Stephen Colbert viewer, I was already an admirer of the gentle, versatile and talented Batiste but this documentary convinced me of his genius, tenderness, strength and love projected through his vision and art. He truly approaches life with arms wide open, inviting everyone in! My comment to my husband (who hasn’t seen it yet) was, “I love Jon Batiste even more!”

The movies you highlight are definitely on my list to watch. Have you seen the documentary on You Tube call The Last Repair Shop? So good and only 40 minutes long - a short documentary I wish would have been a bit longer. 😉. My favorite holiday cookies are Spritz, Chocolate-Espresso Snowcaps and Rum-Glazed Gingerbread cookies from Sweet by Ottolenghi & Goh - cookies stamps from Nordic Ware take all the guess work out of decorating, too. 💕 I want to try those Coronado Cookies, though.....

I’m such a fan girl. I love all of your recipes, book recs and completely agree Killers of the Flower Moon was great & should have been 20% shorter! Thanks for doing what you do. 🙌😊

We sobbbbed in American Symphony and sat wildly still the whole way through The Anatomy of a Fall. What a ride! I love thinking about people viewing the same things on the other side of the world. Even the same moon.
