I totally love the cookbooks I love. I jettisoned many in a move across the country a couple years back. And I don't regret it. Plus, it gives me more room to buy and shelve more offerings from my old and new faves, such as Ruth Reichl, Patricia Wells, Michael Ruhlman, Francis Mallmann, and Steven Raichlen . . . .
I am so glad you wrote about the apple recipes. It reminded me that I have Classic German Baking on my shelf, and now you've spurred me to bake from it. Thank you Jenny!
I have sent many emails asking to unsubscribe me and refund my money. Now I am trying this approach. As I've explained before, I became interested in your newsletter based on a recommendation from another newsletter I enjoy. Thinking I was clicking to get a preview, I accidentally subscribed It seems I was set up for one-click subscriptions and didn't realize it.
Your newsletter is not of interest to me.
Please let me know whether you will refund my money. If you do not reply, I will cancel all my subscriptions through Substack and explain to them why I am doing so.
Sorry for the trouble, Nora. This is the first I've heard of it. I just canceled your subscription with a full refund. You will never hear from me again! :)
Stained Page is so good!! I've subscribed for several years.
AHH!! Thanks Jenny!!! I'm so glad you like the piece. (Carmy would have Joe Beef for sure lol.)
Love SPN! xoxo
I have too many cookbooks and always will. They are my very favorite thing to read at night! So glad you baked that cake!

No worries, it was more for others. I just hoofed it over to my bookshelf and checked my book 😆
Bonus points for having that Ed Lee cookbook in there!

The applfekuchen looks just like Marian Burro’s plum torte but with apples instead, and I often make it with apples instead of plums!
Don't say goodbye.. Stay one more night
OMG food
