I too was gifted the Always pan and never did love it. I read the directions, I adjusted the temp of my stove, but it just wasn't meant to be. I keep going back to the Le Creuset saute pan and we just got a set of Henckels non-stick pans and so far they are amazing.

definitely keep us updated on the pan - i feel like literally every/any nonstick starts out great but then craps out so fast. and then the reviews for all of them are all the same - half say it's life changing and perfect and the other half say don't waste your money.

years ago my mom bought me a porcelain cucina rachael ray set in my favorite color - green. there were three nonstick frying pans among other cooking vessels. these were pretty much the only things we salvaged from our nine alarm house fire, and they lived on for almost another decade after that. finally the coating started peeling on my beloved oblong dutch oven from that set and i had to get rid of it, and 2 out of 3 pans became so sticky i had to toss them too. i still have one and it's still amazing! but it's the smallest one so it only fits fried eggs.

i went to buy more of both but of course the color has been discontinued. i keep stalking ebay to no avail so far. i could just get another color but, a.) i don't like any of the other colors and b.) now i'm afraid they won't be the same. if they revamped the colors what else did they change? i feel like that's always the way.

I love love love my Tramontina pans - I read about them in Wirecutter and noticed a deal that was practically 2 for 1 pricing from Costco. Best investment!

I’ve been loving your fish cakes recipe for a while now. I’m also buying extra fish. And making batches for the freezer. Had some just last night. And bought that same tramontina pan as my Christmas present to myself (exciting, eh?) 😀
